The Audiovisual Designer will be required to build and establish in-house video production capability as well photo production, edition and selection.
This position will require the necessary technical skills for the coordination of the video production projects from pre-production to post-production to create videos for a variety of platforms, audiences and applications. It will also include the production, curation and edition of photographic material for diverse publishing needs. The audiovisual designer will work collaboratively with internal teams worldwide to develop creative approaches to video and photo projects; aligning them to meet business goals, mission and specific messages.
•Conceive, scriptwrite, produce and edit video that communicate compelling audiovisual stories.
•Brainstorm, Develop concepts, scripts and creative ideas, create briefs, listen and defend ideas,
•Search for visual references and archive footage.
•Translate to images and videos the creative ideas.
•Review photos, edit and make necessary changes to decide which images to publish in print publications and on the web/intranets
•Manipulate photos to achieve the highest quality using the appropriate tools
•Liaise with internal editors and COMM responsibles to advise on future projects
•Identify photography needs according to different team’s needs
•Assign projects to photographers and keep track of the deadlines
•Stay up to date with new image and video trends and technologies
•Manage and organize the storage of all video and photo productions
•Plan, assign and supervise work of video and photo production staff and external resources, and collaborate with other video/photo production efforts across the company; manage the utilization of studio facilities and remote setups to shoot original on-site material.
•Produce periodic reports detailing main video /photo production indicators
•Produce global guidelines for communications colleagues on different video formats and photo tips to be developed locally
•Manage excellent inter-departmental /inter-company relationships and provides creative guidance for all video/photo projects.
•Manage several projects and a demanding editorial calendar workflow
